Melissa Roxburg’s Manifesto
I believe in self-reflection and that we should all strive to be the best versions of ourselves. I also believe in taking chances, speaking your mind, and going after what you want in life. And finally, I believe in being kind to others, living life with intention, and always learning and growing.
These are just a few of the things that make up my personal manifesto. I created this list as a way to hold myself accountable to living my life according to these beliefs. And I hope that by sharing it with you, it will inspire you to create your own manifest or maybe just help you live a little more intentionally.
Self-reflection:
Taking the time for self-reflection is so important. It allows us to see where we’ve been and where we want to go. It also helps us identify any areas in our lives that need improvement. Without reflection, it’s easy to get stuck in a rut and keep making the same choices over and over again without even realizing it.
Taking chances:
In order to grow and achieve our goals, we have to be willing to take chances. This means stepping outside of our comfort zones and trying new things. It can be scary, but it’s so worth it when we see the results of our hard work pay off.
Speaking your mind:
It’s so important to speak your truth and stand up for what
What is a Manifesto?
A manifesto is a public declaration of principles and intentions, often political in nature. A manifesto is typically a document that is written by a person or group of people that outlines their beliefs, values, and goals. A manifesto can be short or long, but it is usually meant to be read by others as a way to persuade them to join the cause.
Manifestos are not new; they have been around for centuries. The word “manifesto” comes from the Latin word manifestus, which means “clear” or “evident.” Over time, the meaning of the word has shifted to include any kind of declaration, such as a political statement or an artistic statement.
Some well-known examples of manifestos include Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto, which outlined the principles of Marxism; The Futurist Manifesto, written by Italian artist and poet Filippo Marinetti, which advocated for an art movement that embraced speed, technology, and violence; and The feminist Manifesto, written by French thinker Simone de Beauvoir, which called for equality between men and women.
While manifestos can be serious in tone, they don’t have to be. In recent years, there has been a trend of people writing humorous manifestos that parody serious ones. For example, in 2012 comedian David Thorne wrote a spoof manifesto called The Social Media Marketing Revolutions: A Manifesto

How to Use a Manifesto
Before you can use a manifesto, you need to understand what one is. A manifesto is a document that declares your intentions, motivations, or views. It can be about anything, from your personal life to your business. Once you have a clear understanding of what a manifesto is, you can start writing your own.
There’s no right or wrong way to write a manifesto. The most important thing is that it’s authentic to you and your voice comes through clearly. When writing, be sure to answer these questions:
– Why are you doing this?
– What do you hope to achieve?
– What are your core values?
Once you’ve answered these questions, you can start fleshing out your manifesto. Remember, there are no rules – just be true to yourself.
