Unlock Rich Flavors: 5 Reasons to Try Redbreast 13 Whiskey
If you’re looking for a new whiskey to try, I highly recommend Redbreast 13. This Irish whiskey is different from other whiskies on the market in many ways. In fact, it has several unique characteristics that make it one of the most interesting whiskeys out there—and one of my favorites. Here are five reasons why Redbreast 13 should be at the top of your list when shopping for a new bottle:
Redbreast is a great example of an Irish whiskey. Like many other Irish whiskey, it’s made with malted barley and distilled in pot stills. The distillation process can also be called “pot-stilled,” which refers to how the alcohol is fermented and then distilled before being aged in casks (usually bourbon barrels).
The original recipe for Redbreast was developed by Jameson’s Master Distiller Richard Paterson in 1975; since then it has become one of the most popular blends on the market today!
It’s the oldest whiskey in the world.
If you’re looking for the oldest whiskey in the world, look no further than Redbreast 13. It was first distilled in 1792 at Ireland’s Midleton Distillery and has been produced ever since. The brand name was originally called Red Breast Pure Pot Still Whiskey (a nod to its unique production process) but was later changed so that it would be easier to market internationally.
James Power was responsible for creating this distinct style of Irish whiskey; he was also its first master distiller–and we can thank him for helping establish a tradition that continues today!
It’s rare, but it used to be more common.
Redbreast 13 is a rare whiskey, but it used to be more common. In fact, it was once the most popular Irish whiskey in the world until World War II and a decades-long trade embargo on Ireland caused sales to plummet.
Redbreast 13 has a smooth flavor profile with notes of honeyed fruit and caramelized sugar that linger on your palette long after you’ve finished your glass. It’s aged for 13 years in sherry casks from Spain or Portugal (hence its name), which gives it an unmistakable character unique among other Irish whiskeys–and adds another layer of complexity to its taste profile.
It was created by a master distiller with a special process.
The process of making whiskey is a labor of love. The master distiller must have a passion for the craft, as it takes years to become one. In fact, Redbreast 13’s creator spent 30 years perfecting his techniques before releasing this whiskey in 2015.
The reason why there are so few master distillers? It’s because they’re incredibly hard to find! And once you do find one who loves what they do and has worked hard at it for decades…well then you’ve got yourself an amazing product like Redbreast 13 Whiskey!
There are many ways to enjoy this whiskey!
Redbreast 13 is a versatile whiskey, and there are many ways to enjoy it. Try drinking it neat to appreciate its smoothness and subtle nuances. Or add a splash of water (or even just a drop) to bring out some of that earthy goodness. You can also add ice if you want to chill things down and make sure your drink stays cold throughout the night!
If you’re looking for something more adventurous, try adding a splash of water with some ice in order to create an unusual martini-like twist on this beloved Irish spirit. If this sounds too much like work though, then perhaps sticking with some simple garnishes would be easier–a slice of orange or lemon will do just fine!
This whiskey is one of the best in the world, and it’s worth trying
If you’re looking for a new whiskey to try, Redbreast 13 is one of the best in the world. It’s worth trying, even if you haven’t been a fan of Irish whiskey before.
This whiskey has rich flavors that make it stand out from other whiskeys on the market. You’ll notice notes of honey and vanilla, but also hints of fruitiness and spice–all at once!
